Judicial Candidate's Responses to CCRC Questions |
|
|
Introduction & Information On Tuesday, November 17 the CCRC sent each of the six candidates that were recommended by the Judicial Nominating Commission to Governor Bill Richardson a list of questions about their knowledge and experience with domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. You can see a list of the finalists as well as their responses to these questions by clicking the appropriate links to the left. Several of the candidates CVs are available through the Santa Fe Reporter blog - found here. You are encouraged to review the responses and call Governor Richardson's office with your comments at (505) 476-2200. You can also email the govenor through his website. The CCRC does not have an official membership and is unable to vote on recommendations. Our interest is to create a community system that meets the needs of victims/survivors and holds offenders of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking accountable. This District Court Judge position, which will focus on a family docket, is critical to this system.
