Judicial Candidate's Responses to CCRC Questions |
|
|
Introduction & Information There are four District Court judgeships in the 1st Judicial District Court up for election this June. All four seats have been or will be appointed by the time of the election. The CCRC has sent each of the candidates a list of questions about their knowledge and experience with domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. You can see a list of the finalists as well as their responses to these questions by clicking the appropriate links to the left. The CCRC does not have an official membership and is unable to vote on recommendations. Our interest is to create a community system that meets the needs of victims/survivors and holds offenders of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking accountable. This District Court Judge position, which will focus on a family docket, is critical to this system.
